Following Portugal's current leadership of the Permanent Structured Cooperation Project (PESCO) Cyber Academia and Innovation Hub (EU CAIH), and with a view to structuring the PoW, it is proposed that the International Symposium "Cyber and Disruptive Technologies: PESCO and Common Approach to EDF Projects”, September 12, 13 and 14, 2022.
With a joint organization between the Ministry of National Defence (MDN), through the General Directorate of National Defence Resources (DGRDN), and the National Security Office (GNS), it will benefit from the support of the Member States participating in the EU CAIH and respective industry and academia, Institute of Telecommunications and Deimos Engenharia.
The Scientific Council of the International Symposium will be part of the Faculty of Sciences and the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, the University of Aveiro, the Instituto Superior Técnico, the University of Minho, the Polytechnic University of Valencia and the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
With the European Defence Agency (EDA) and the PESCO Secretariat as partners in the event, the participation of EDF/EDIDP projects that are or were associated with the PESCO EU CAIH project will be promoted, with the inherent co-financing bonuses, namely DISCRETION, ACTING and CONNECTED.
The International Symposium will start on the afternoon of the 12th of September and will run until the late morning of the 14th of September 2022, in Lisbon, at Forte São Julião da Barra.
